It's that time of the year again.
We at InsideTennessee.com count down the top 30 In-State players every year, with the Class of 2012 not being an exception.
Our recruiting analyst and staff writers haven gotten a better opportunity to see the talent in the state of Tennessee up close this past spring, with the help of the First Annual InsideTennessee Combine held in Knoxville last month, along with numerous other combines and spring practices.
We will begin at No. 30 and work our way down the list all the way to No. 1. Please remember this is a Pre-Season Top 30, and we will release our Post-Season Top 30 after the conclusion of the 2011 season.
Coming in at No. 26 Hunter Brown of Hendersonville, Tennessee
Brown is a very talented quarterback that led his team to the State title his junior year.
A true pro style quarterback with a cannon for an arm.
One reason this young man is flying beneath the radar is the fact that he runs the Wing T offense.
"There is no doubt that I'm more of a pro-style quarterback," Brown told InsideTennessee.com. "You just have to do your best no matter what offense we run."
Brown measured 6-foot-3 and a half inches and weighed in at 213- pounds. He ran a 5.0 flat forty and he feels he makes up for his lack of speed with other attributes.
"I make up for my speed with my arm," Brown noted. "I have always been told I have a cannon."
While Brown has no offers yet, he isn't giving up hope.
"I will attend several summer camps to show coaches what I can do," Brown said. "I will definitely camp at Tennessee."
