It's that time of the year again.
We at InsideTennessee.com count down the top 30 In-State players every year, with the Class of 2012 not being an exception.
Our recruiting analyst and staff writers haven gotten a better opportunity to see the talent in the state of Tennessee up close this past spring, with the help of the First Annual InsideTennessee Combine held in Knoxville last month, along with numerous other combines and spring practices.
We will begin at No. 30 and work our way down the list all the way to No. 1. Please remember this is a Pre-Season Top 30, and we will release our Post-Season Top 30 after the conclusion of the 2011 season.
Coming in at No. 25 is Columbia Central athlete Eric Belew
Belew, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound athlete, has been impressive on several occasions at combines attended by InsideTennessee.com.
Belew is an athlete with great size, plays wide receiver at his high school and at the free safety position. He has good hands, loves to hit and may find his future on the defensive side of the ball at safety or free safety at the college level.
Expect Belew's offer sheet to expand after spring evaluations.
Belew has shown good speed, in the 4.5 range, has good leaping ability and has an intense work ethic.
