InsideTennessee Top 30 Countdown

Coming in at No. 23 of the InsideTennessee Top 30 Countdown is Riverdale's running back Adam Davenport.

It's that time of the year again.

We at InsideTennessee.com count down the top 30 In-State players every year, with the Class of 2012 not being an exception.

Our recruiting analyst and staff writers haven gotten a better opportunity to see the talent in the state of Tennessee up close this past spring, with the help of the First Annual InsideTennessee Combine held in Knoxville last month, along with numerous other combines and spring practices.

We will begin at No. 30 and work our way down the list all the way to No. 1. Please remember this is a Pre-Season Top 30, and we will release our Post-Season Top 30 after the conclusion of the 2011 season.

Coming in at No. 23 is Riverdale's running back Adam Davenport.

Davenport. s 6-foot,192-pound athlete, runs a 4.41 forty, rushed for over 1,611 yards and scored 26 touchdowns as a junior. For his efforts Davenport was named First Team All-District, All Mid-State and All State in Class 6A.

A big physical athlete that could play several positions at the college level. Wideout, an H-Back and most likely safety.

"He has tremendous work ethic," One recruiting analyst said. "He is an incredible athlete with a huge upside."

He is currently holding no offers, but hopes that will change in the near future. He plans on attending several summer camps at schools of his choice.
