What started out as his first offer, Otha Peters of Covington Louisiana has seen his stock soar since.

InsideTennessee.com caught up with Peters after Tennessee's camp Saturday afternoon to get his thoughts on how he enjoyed his first visit to Rocky Top.

"It was great to see everything with my own eyes," Peters said. "They have top knotch everthing here."

Peters has recently picked up 11 offers including the one from the Vols, with his most recent ones coming from Nebraska and Kansas State.

"Right now my top three are all SEC schools," Peters said. "Those three schools are Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi State in no certain order."

Others schools offering the standout linebacker includes Arkansas State, Louisiana Lafayette, Memphis, Pittsburgh and Tulsa.

"I really have a great relationship with Coach Peter Sirmon and Coach Terry Joseph," Peters said. "It was great to get coached up by them today."

While Peters spoke briefly with Tennessee Head Coach Derek Dooley, he plans on sitting down and visiting with the Vols Head Man Sunday morning.

"This stadium is incredible," Peters said. "It will be amazing playing in front of 106,000 fans."

Peters, a 6-foot-1, 210-pound athlete, plans on making a decision sometime during his senior season.

"This won't be my last visit to Tennessee," Peters said. "I will come down for an official visit for the LSU game."

What was Peters' first impression of Tennessee?

"I like Tennessee a lot," Peters said. "I like how everyone communicates with you, I love the feel you get around this program."
