Golfers 4th in SEC tourney

Andrew Pratt finished fourth individually and helped Tennessee finish fourth as a team in the recent Southeastern Conference Golf Championships at Sea Island, Ga.

Pratt carded rounds of 72-69-70 for a 211 total. Florida's Brett Stegmaier won with a 67-72-64--203, helping the Gators capture the team title with 856 strokes. Auburn (862) was second, followed by Georgia (866), UT (870) and South Carolina (875).

Ross McGowan and Joh-Scott Rattan of UT tied for 10th after shooting identical 72-72-73--217 scores. Vol David Skinns was 39th at 73-75-78--226 and UT's Ian Parnaby tied for 46th after carding 75-78-77--230.

The Vols will be competing in an NCAA Regional May 15-17.
