It appears that Tennessee will be receiving some unofficial visitors this upcoming week.
InsideTennessee confirmed with Fort Myers Dunbar athlete Tajarvis Fuller that he and nine of his teammates will make a trip to Knoxville on Tuesday. Fuller, an outside linebacker and strong safety, recently committed to Illinois earlier this week.
"I have over 25 offers right now," Fuller said. "One of the schools that haven't offered is Tennessee. We will be going there Tuesday for a visit. I committed to Illinois this week, but I'm still interested in teams that are interested in me."
According to Fuller, he and several of his teammates will make a trip through the southeast checking out several schools.
"It will be good to check Tennessee out," Fuller said. "They definitely want to get me on campus."
Fuller excelled at middle linebacker as a junior, where he was seemingly in on every play. He will likely transition back to safety at the college level. According to Florida Recruiting analyst Geoff Vogt, Fuller has the speed, athleticism and coverage skills to just that and bring some pop vs. the run.
"It will be a great trip," Fuller said. "My teammates and I are looking forward to it."
Only time will tell if Fuller gets an offer from the Vols and if that offer will be enough for the talented defender to change his commitment.
