SEC picks

Seven games are on this weekend's SEC schedule, with the headliner finding Arkansas visiting Alabama in a battle of Western Division unbeatens.

The InsideTennessee staff took some lumps weekend, as the four experts combined to go just 24-12 on their SEC picks.

Chris Price went 7-2, improving his season record to 26-5 and building a two-game lead over Josh Woodward and Danny Parker, each checking in at 24-7. Woodward went 6-3 last weekend, Parker 5-4. Randy Moore also went 6-3 last week and stands 23-8 for the year.

Here are their projections for this week's games, plus their year-to-date records:

CHRIS PRICE (26-5)

Arkansas AT Alabama: Arkansas can't quite hang. Tide rolls again, 42-33.

Florida Atlantic AT Auburn: Auburn will bounce back this week. Tigers, 38-17.

Florida AT Kentucky: Well its Kentucky. Enough said. Gators, 52-13.

Georgia AT Ole Miss: Well it's Ole Miss. Enough said. Dogs, 31-10.

LSU AT West Virginia: West Virginia doesn't belong in the SEC. LSU, 33-14.

Louisiana Tech AT MISS. STATE: Miss State wins easily despite being out of the conference race. State, 30-9.

Vanderbilt AT South Carolina: South Carolina struggles early and pulls away late. Gamecocks, 42-20.

JOSH WOODWARD (24-7)

LSU vs West Virginia: 35-14, Tigers just keep rolling

Alabama vs Arkansas: 42-17, Tide. Defense wins championships, not offense.

Vanderbilt vs South Carolina: 28-13, Gamecocks give James Franklin his 1st loss

Florida vs Kentucky: 48-17, Gators have no problem with the Wildcats

Georgia vs Ole Miss: 35-10, Bulldogs grab an easy win

Florida Atlantic vs Auburn: 48-10, Tigers bounce back after Clemson loss

Louisiana Tech vs Miss. State: 31-20, State rolls to an easy win

DANNY PARKER (24-7)

ARKANSAS AT ALABAMA: The Hogs are getting too much respect. Alabama, 28-10

FLORIDA ATLANTIC AT AUBURN: Can't see the defending champs dropping two in a row. Auburn, 47-27

FLORIDA AT KENTUCKY: The front seven of the Gator defense is as advertised. Florida, 20-3

GEORGIA AT OLE MISS: Aaron Murray to Orson Charles finds life in Oxford for the 'Dawgs' first SEC win in 11 months. Georgia, 35-14

LSU AT WEST VIRGINIA: Chief Chavis has some serious tools at his disposal. Geno Smith...."LOOK OUT!" LSU, 26-6

LOUISIANA TECH AT MISS. STATE: Former Vol Lennon Creer (347 yards, 5 TDs) won't be enough for La Tech. State, 41-13

VANDERBILT AT SOUTH CAROLINA: Let's see if the 'Dores can do anything to slow down Marcus Lattimore. S. Carolina, 21-10

RANDY MOORE (23-8)

ARKANSAS AT ALABAMA: Playing in Fayetteville, I might go with the Hogs. Playing in Tuscaloosa, I've got to take the Tide. Bama, 31-24

FLORIDA ATLANTIC AT AUBURN: The Tigers bounce back from last week's disappointing loss to Clemson. Auburn, 41-21

FLORIDA AT KENTUCKY: The Gators are a little better than I thought in preseason and the Wildcats are even worse than I thought. Florida, 35-14

GEORGIA AT OLE MISS: Mark Richt and Houston Nutt compare hot-seat temperatures during pre-game warmups and again during post-game handshakes. Nutt wins each time. Georgia, 31-21

LSU AT WEST VIRGINIA: The Tigers' defense is for real. LSU, 27-17

LOUISIANA TECH AT MISS. STATE: State has lost the last two meetings in the series and its last two outings this season. Both streaks end Saturday. MSU, 31-20

VANDERBILT AT SOUTH CAROLINA: The Gamecocks lost to Vandy in 2007 and 2008 but they didn't have Marcus Lattimore then. Carolina, 27-14
