A few Tennessee football commitments have agreed to work alongside InsideTennessee.com to diary their senior seasons and final year of high school. Alden Hill was among the first who volunteered to share some of his thoughts and his life with our readership.

In Marlington (Ohio) High School's 42-7 win over the Salem Quakers last Friday, Hill carried the ball 11 times for 147 yards to bring his season rushing total to 824 yards.

Read below to see what Alden had to say in another installment as he and his fellow Dukes take on the Carrollton Warriors on Friday night at 7.

It feels great to have everything back to normal here at Marlington.

It feels nice to know that after our 42-7 win against the Salem Quakers, that our team is back on the grind. This win has put us back on track and has really helped us get focused on our primary goal of winning 15 games.

School has been going great for me. So far I have been able to keep a 4.0, then again the tests are just now beginning to pile up.

Sometimes it takes losing to show what kind of man it takes to get back up and start pushing his peers. Work ethic seems to blossom within the team and everyone reacts as if we never missed a step.

Less words are spoken, but yet more comfort is sacrificed and more sweat is produced. Players step up to the challenges, facing them head on. Men accept their roles and admit their mistakes.

This is exactly what has propelled my team in the right direction, after being knocked down. We have found our hunger and our confidence we lacked two games ago. I am hoping from looking back on the season so far we can agree that much improvement and growing must take place.

As fast as this season comes, it ends. In the meantime I want to be on the field with my team, while we climb back to the top.
