InsideTennessee.com has confirmed that the Big Orange has received a verbal pledge from D'montre Edwards, a 6-6 wing from Brevard Community College in Melbourne, Fla. Edwards visited the UT campus this weekend, then began posting comments on his Twitter account suggesting he is All Vol.

For instance:

"volunteer or die baby !!!!!!"

"Okay we popping champaine like we won a championship game."

"Got some weight off my shoulders, but to me its like feathers."

"Headed back to florida with a great attitude and mindset"

Edwards averaged 15.4 points per game for Brevard last season and shot 37 percent from 3-point range. He previously played for West Ashley High School in Charleston, S.C.

Edwards is the second commitment for Tennessee's 2012 signing class. Derek Reese, a 6-8 forward from Olympia High in Orlando, Fla., went public for the Vols in late August. Reese shot 48 percent from the field and 41 percent from 3 en route to averaging 13 points and 8 rebounds per game as a junior last season.

Both Edwards and Reese are expected to make their pledges to Tennessee official during the November Signing Period.
