Poole stuck it out

Sign in or up as InsideTennessee brings you a video interview with senior Tauren Poole who talks about his journey as a Volunteer and his fast-approaching last game in Neyland Stadium. Be sure to come to IT for all things Tennessee athletics.

The road has been long and hard for senior running back Tauren Poole. He has battled through coaching changes, injuries and hard times at the University of Tennessee.

There were times that he thought about jumping ship on the Volunteer program and leaving, but through thick and thin he stuck things you and stayed on Rocky Top.

Now Poole will likely face one of the more emotional times of his young life — his last game as a Tennessee football player in Neyland Stadium.

Derek Dooley admitted during Monday's press conference that senior day during his first year on the hill was more than he expected, but now it is Tauren Poole's turn to face the last home game.

Watch as the senior tailback addresses his final game as a Tennessee Volunteer and sticking it out through even the toughest of times in Knoxville.
