Video: Peterman speaks before enrolling

The word "commitment" seems to take on a whole new meaning with adjectives like "soft" or "firm" used in front of it when it comes to recruiting.

In spite of Tennessee finishing 5-7, the quarterbacks coach position being flipped around or rumors swirling around message boards and Twitter accounts, Nathan Peterman has stayed true to his word with no jockeying about that he would take his talents to Knoxville to play for coach Derek Dooley.

The Bartram Trail (Fla.) High School product received interest from other BCS schools down the stretch like Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina and UCF.

Peterman, who led the Bears to the FHSAA Class 6A semifinals, is set to join six other commitments in starting their lives as student-athletes at Tennessee next week.
