The 5-foot-10, 165-pounder carries a career record of 32-5 at Dyer County (Tenn.) High School into his senior year.

Dyer County opens up its 2012 season by taking on St. Benedict in Cordova, Tenn., on March 12. How excited is the southpaw to get his senior year underway?

"Very," he told InsideTennessee. "We have strong pitching, so we should be pretty good this year."
