Standout GA Athlete talks recruiting

The Tennessee Vols have struggled in the Georgia Dome over the last six years (2003 Peach Bowl, 2001 SECCG and bad performances in the '97 and '98 SEC title games). So signing a kid that has already won a ring in the Dome could only help the chase of another SEC crown.

Nick Fewox helped lead Camden County to the Georgia Dome in last season's 5A semi-final game with Brookwood. The Broncos prevailed in double overtime, but Camden will be returning a solid group of players including Fewox to make another run at the Dome.

"Our offense was mostly a running offense," said Fewox. "I played all over the place on offense. I played some wide receiver and even quarterback. I play corner on defense. I haven't gone to any camps yet this year. I'm thinking of going to NC State, Auburn, and Georgia for camps. I got invited out to Nebraska's camp. I'd like to go out there, because I love playing the option quarterback."

Fewox is an excellent student with a 3.8 GPA, and he has a solid list of schools that he is interested in him that he has been hearing from this summer.

"I'm really wide open among everyone that's recruiting me. If I had to name some favorites though, I would probably say Georgia, NC State, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, and Auburn."

At 6-1 and 170 pounds with 4.5 speed, Fewox is likely to end up on the defensive side of the ball at the safety position.
