The Battleground Academy star has no offers at this point but expect that to change over the next few weeks. "I went to the Tennessee camp and things went very well. I also went to the Western Kentucky camp earlier this summer. I believe both are close to offering."

Karl is receiving interest from Tennessee, Clemson, Alabama, Western Kentucky, Michigan State and Vanderbilt and Colorado State. "My top three are Tennessee and Clemson. They are very close. I would also include Alabama in my top 3."

Clemson aAssistant coach Burton Burns is recruiting this outstanding prospect for the Tigers. Karl expects to play linebacker or safety if he plays in the ACC or SEC. "If I go out to the Mountain West conference I might have a chance to play running back. If I select the ACC or SEC I will probably play linebacker or safety."

Karl does not expect to camp at Clemson but he is very interested in the Tigers. "I've never been to Clemson but I've looked at them a lot on the web. I love their stadium and I love their tradition. I e-mail coach Bowden every few weeks just to keep it touch."

Karl expects to wait until the season is over to make a commitment. "I want to concentrate on winning the state championship. Everything will fall into place after that."
