Slot receiver? Defensive back? Returnman?

Where Vic Wharton fits on a college roster on the next level remains to be seen. The Volunteer State prospect doesn't seem to care, he just wants a scholarship to a place he can call home.

Wharton, who recently transferred to Independence (Tenn.) High School from Christ Presbyterian Academy, will team up with fellow Class of 2014 target RaShaan Gaulden to be half of one of the state's top defensive backfields this fall.

The teammates both tripped to Tennessee last week to get further educated on what football life in the Southeastern Conference is like.
