Tennessee signee Ryan Jenkins
Bloodlines alone suggest the Vols got a good one in Ryan Jenkins of Lassiter High School in Marietta, Ga. His father, Lee, was a Tennessee defensive back from 1980-82 and his brother, Martin, is a cornerback at Clemson. Jenkins caught 24 passes for 415 yards and six touchdowns as a senior in leading Lassiter to a 10-1 record and No. 1 seeding for Georgia's Class 6A playoffs. He also was invited to participate in "The Opening," a prestigious summer prospect camp.
