Tennessee signee Jason Carr
Jason Carr is the kind of versatile prospect who could play defensive end or bulk up a bit and develop into a defensive tackle for Tennessee. Either way, the Vols will be looking to exploit his abilities as a pass rusher. He numbered 16 sacks among his 68 tackles as a junior in leading Memphis' White Station High School to the third round of the state playoffs. He followed with 10 sacks as a senior, earning Class 6A all-state recognition from the Tennessee Sports Writers Association. White Station head man Devin Rutherford calls him "one of the best run stoppers I have seen."
