Marshall Commits to the Buckyes

Southfield (Mich.) junior defensive end Lawrence Marshall makes it two in Michigan for Ohio State.

Southfield High defensive end Lawrence Marshall confirmed that he committed to Ohio State today on a visit before heading to the Buckeye basketball game.

The 6'3, 215-lb Marshall chose the Buckeyes over offers from Michigan State, Michigan, Tennessee, Pittsburgh, Syracuse and others.

He is the second commitment for the Buckeyes in the state of Michigan this class joining Detroit Cass Tech cornerback Damon Webb.

He is also one of three commitments for Ohio State today, joining in-state prospects Kyle Trout, an offensive tackle, and running back Parris Campbell.
