Having top-level talent on board in a recruiting class works wonders in helping sway the minds of other top targets.

Tennessee is seeing that impact can make with its 2014 class with players like Jalen Hurd and Todd Kelly Jr. verbally committed early in the process.

"I'm just excited about what UT can be and what UT is going to get back to," Hurd told InsideTennessee.

The pair, along with several other of the Tennessee commits, is using social media and opportunities on campus to get into the ear of top players about suiting up with them one day.

"The real question is why not? Everybody sees that Tennessee is on the rise," Kelly said.
