Jannah Tucker in her own words

Jannah Tucker will enroll at Tennessee in June. Go inside for a firsthand account of the 2013 Lady Vol signee's recovery from knee surgery and return to the basketball court.

InsideTennessee: Jannah Tucker was the first 2013 recruit to say yes to Tennessee and Holly Warlick after the retirement of Pat Summitt. She spent her senior season of high school in Randallstown, Md., rehabbing her left knee after tearing her ACL last August while playing USA basketball.

Tucker will enroll this June and plans to attend both summer sessions in Knoxville. After eight months off the court, the 6-0 wing is ready to get back to basketball.

Jannah Tucker in her own words:

First, I want to congratulate Mercedes (Russell) and Jordan (Reynolds) on making the McDonald's All-American team! I'm sorry I couldn't be there, but I'm super happy and proud of the both of them! Special shoutout to Mercedes for getting MVP as well.

I was cleared to play on April 2 with no limitations, so I am just training now in preparation for the upcoming season.

I'm working out with a strength and conditioning coach three days a week for plyometrics and agility, and five days a week I'm in the gym working on drills and situational moves with my dad.

I am so excited to join the family and officially be a Lady Vol!!
