Abu Lamin has some thinking to do...and the clock is ticking.

The FOX Sports and Scout three-star prospect who verbally committed to South Carolina back on July 29 checked out Tennessee this weekend.

It was the Fayetteville, N.C., native's fifth and final official visit after also checking out Arkansas, Florida, Nebraska and South Carolina.

Lamin is a 6-foot-3, 315-pounder at Fort Scott (Kan.) Community College. He sat out last fall adjusting to college football and is a redshirt freshman this season.

Plans are to show up in either Columbia, S.C., or Knoxville, Tenn., in January with three years to play three seasons. The opportunity to play right away is there for Lamin as the Vols are set to graduate six defensive linemen.

The Greyhounds lost their first six games of the 2013 season before winning two of three. In Fort Scott's 53-26 win over Arkansas Baptist College on Oct. 26, Lamin registered four tackles (two solo) with two tackles for loss and a sack.
