Calvin Heurtelou is one of the nation's top uncommitted defensive tackles at the junior college level.

Heurtelou lines up in the trenches for the Scottsdale (Ariz.) Community College Fighting Artichokes.

Listed at 6-foot-4, 304 pounds, the Nanuet, N.Y., native possesses the size to play right away on the BCS level. Scout rates him as a three-star prospect.

Tennessee badly needs to replenish the roster at defensive line as graduation is soon to deplete the unit. It already has commitments from JUCO standouts Davonte Lambert and Owen Williams. Heurtelou, who officially visited Knoxville this weekend, may be next.

Scottsdale has won nine straight games, including clenching the WSFL championship. The Fighting Artichokes take place in the Valley of the Sun Bowl on Dec. 7.
