ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — It's been eight months since Jack Jones decided his college football will be played at Tennessee.

Since then the offensive lineman has completed a junior season at Oakland (Tenn.) High School and worked on his body with In Full Motion/Playmakers Academy.

The Murfreesboro, Tenn., resident has his recruiting hat on at all times. One player he's spoken with about the Orange & White is Ugo Amadi.

"He's a great kid; I like him a lot," Jones said of the Nashville native.

Also, the junior has an ongoing tongue-and-cheek competition going with senior Vols commit Charles Mosley.

"Whenever we did a little one-on-ones up at UT, yeah, he knows who got the best of him," Jones said of his friend and future teammate.

The 6-foot-4, 271-pound Jones ranks as the No. 25 offensive tackle in the 2015 class and is a Scout four-star prospect.

At the Under Armour Combine this month, Jones bench pressed 185 pounds 14 times and clocked the 5-10-5 shuttle in 4.88 seconds.
