CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Austin Kendall isn't taking the time between when the Friday night lights switches turn off and on lightly.

Kendall and family have hit the road not only to visit campus of universities showing interest, but they've also gotten the signal-caller involved with camps and combines to present a challenge with consistent improvement being the goal.

The sophomore quarterback from Charlotte Christian in Charlotte has visited Tennessee four times already.

The Volunteers were on of his first scholarship offers. Since then, schools like Clemson and West Virginia have entered the competition to land the right-hander.
