The Tennessee football team didn't waste a gorgeous Saturday in Knoxville as the Volunteers competed for over 2 hours at Neyland Stadium, getting in fundamental, scrimmage and situational work.

The "Circle of Life" portion of practice pitted several Volunteers of similar size and strength against one another, including fourth-year linebackers A.J. Johnson and Curt Maggitt competing one-on-one.

Freshman versus freshman. Cornerback versus wide receiver. It was competition worth seeing.

After all the action was over, InsideTennessee's beat reporters compiled their notes and observations for another edition of Insider Report.
