Preston Williams is the country's top-rated pass catcher, and he's committed to play at Tennessee. But, can the Volunteers hold onto him?
BEAVERTON, Ore. — Kahlil McKenzie gave Tennessee its second Scout five-star commitment for the 2015 signing class. The other being Preston Williams.
However, programs like Florida and Georgia haven't slowed their pursuit of Scout's No. 1-rated wide receiver, who pledged to the Big Orange last September.
In 2013, the 6-foot-4, 193-pounder caught 52 passes for 1,234 yards and 13 touchdowns at Lovejoy (Ga.) High School.
This week at The Opening, searching for a defensive back that could give him a competitive matchup, Williams said he caught 13 passes the first two 7-on-7 games.
