NORMAN, Okla. — Sometimes teams have to take a step back before taking two steps forward.
A 34-10 loss to the Sooners included a pair of interceptions in the end zone thrown by Tennessee senior Justin Worley. However, the quarterback was hardly the scapegoat as the Big Orange dropped their first contest of the season in the first matchup with Oklahoma since 1968.
A road atmosphere that included Oklahoma's sixth-largest crowd in school history and an opponent that rates as the Big 12 conference's best gave Tennessee and its coaching staff answers to several questions before the Southeastern Conference schedule gets underway in two weeks.
