BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — From the haircut to the proximity to the accent, Ryan Johnson exudes Southern culture.

The mid-state product has had Tennessee in his heart since childhood and it wasn't long after the coaching staff on Rocky Top saw the 6-foot-5, 275-pounder's talent projecting to be SEC level that Johnson joined the commitment list for 2016.

The Scout four-star prospect declared his intentions to play for the Big Orange back on July 19.

Now, the goal is to get Brentwood Academy a TSSAA state championship.
