Quarterbacks leading their team to come-from-behind wins on the road raise eyebrows and command respect.
What about bringing your team back from 28 down with 11 minutes to play? Jauan Jennings did that for the Blackman Blaze in a 43-42 victory in late September.
For the game, the right-handed signal-caller completed 24 of 39 passes with three touchdowns. He also toted the rock 11 times for 105 yards, not including the game-winning two-point conversion with 44 seconds to play.
The Scout network has Jennings rated as the No. 17 safety prospect in the 2015 class, however, he expects to and figures to get a chance to play quarterback at Tennessee.
With Jennings' help, the Blaze are 7-0 and ranked No. 2 in the Associated Press Class 6A poll heading into Week 8 action.
