Bleacher Report broke the news this afternoon that Southern Miss and Donnie Tyndall are being investigated by the NCAA for violating "Prop 48." The NCAA Proposition 48 deals with recruits who are not on scholarship, therefore can not receive tuition, living expenses or any other expense from the school.
The NCAA is now investigating into how these fees were paid for and according to Bleacher Report, NCAA investigators were at Southern Miss last week interviewing players and administrators about the issue.
It's unclear right now what will come of these investigations and what will happen to Tennessee basketball if the NCAA finds Donnie Tyndall violated rules while at Southern Miss.
We will have more on this story as it develops.
