Jack Jones lugs home more hardware

Taking home one of the most prestigious awards in the Volunteer State this week was Scout four-star prospect and Murfreesboro-based offensive lineman Jack Jones.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Black Friday came a few days too early. Jack Jones needs a larger trophy case.

The Tennessee commit and Oakland (Tenn.) High School standout earned his second straight TSSAA Class 6A Mr. Football Lineman of the Year award.

The 6-foot-4 1/2, 290-pounder and three-year starter racked up 94 pancake blocks in eight regular season games around a knee sprain. He graded out at 90-percent and is set to play in the Under Armour All-America game in January.
