Music City's Perry provides future plans

Vincent Perry is one of the most explosive football players in the Volunteer State's 2015 signing class. The Scout three-star prospect says he's playing his college ball on Rocky Top. Here's more from Perry after his prep finale.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — The ability to turn off the light switch and be in the bed before the room gets dark is a trait that college football coaches covet.

Vincent Perry may not have skills similar to comic book heroes but there's plenty enough scoot in his step to impress college coaches.

In 2014, the Hillsboro (Tenn.) High School speedster ran the football 135 times for 1,218 yards with 18 touchdowns. He also caught 34 passes for 522 yards and three scores.

Perry’s 41-yard touchdown reception accounted for the Burros (14-1) only points in the TSSAA Class 5A state championship loss to West 23-6.

The Nashville native gave his verbal commitment to the Tennessee coaching staff back on Oct. 8.

The Scout three-star prospect discusses recruiting teammate Kyle Phillips to Tennessee, playing baseball in the spring and more in the video below:
