Visits to help Kyle Phillips' decision

Kyle Phillips is the state of Tennessee's top football prospect. Will he stay close to home or head to another Southeastern Conference school? Here's more from Scout's InsideTennessee:

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — It's about that time.

With his career on the playing field at Hillsboro (Tenn.) High School complete, Kyle Phillips will now concentrate his attention on choosing a college.

Phillips' team fell in the TSSAA Class 5A state championship to Knoxville West 23-6 on Friday night.

In 2014, Phillips was a force for the Burros coming off the edge, totaling 59.5 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, 11 tipped passes, five forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.

The decision coming from the Scout 300 member should be coming within the next 20 days before he flies west to take part in the U.S. Army All-America Bowl. The school gaining the talent of the Volunteer State's best 2015 prospect will be LSU, Ole Miss or Tennessee.
