BEAVERTON, Ore. — JoeJuan Williams' first scholarship offer came from Tennessee and coach Butch Jones. That's a fact that's never been lost on the mid-state defender.

Williams continues to hear from numerous schools and is showing returned interest in many from Arizona State to Auburn to Tennessee to Vanderbilt.

The Hendersonville (Tenn.) High School two-way threat ranks by Scout as the No. 291 player in the 2016 class and the No. 21 safety.

The 6-foot-3 defensive back challenged himself this week by taking part in The Opening at NIKE Headquarters, going head on with some of the nation's premier offensive skill.
