Jarrett Guarantano recruiting for Vols

Jarrett Guarantano isn't shy about this commitment level to Tennessee. See just how firm the Scout four-star prospect's decision to be a Volunteer is by watching this exclusive interview.

BEAVERTON, Ore. — Jarrett Guarantano trekked across country this month to the Elite 11 and The Opening at NIKE Headquarters not only to recruit for Tennessee but to get better as a quarterback.

The Bergen Catholic (N.J.) School signal-caller appeared to accomplish both during his week-long stay in the Pacific Northwest, consistently getting heavy praise from Elite 11 coaches and counselors.

The Scout No. 1 quarterback in the East Region plans to return to Knoxville this weekend. A blue chip recruit may be with him as he doesn't live far from the No. 1 player in the nation, Rashan Gary.

The field general had a message for Big Orange Country shortly before heading home to New Jersey: "Go Vols and we're going to win a national championship."
