CARTERSVILLE, Ga. — Trevor Lawrence doesn't play high school football like a 15-year old.
The sophomore quarterback at Cartersville (Ga.) High School has 15 scholarship offers, including one from childhood favorite Tennessee.
Lawrence threw four touchdowns and ran for another to help the Hurricanes to a 51-6 win over visiting Gilmer on Friday night.
The 6-foot-6, 1986-pounder grew up in Fall Branch, Tennessee, which is 1 hour, 20 minutes from Neyland Stadium. However, Lawrence told InsideTennessee that his early-life allegiance won't much affect his college choice.
Lawrence already owns a Scout five-star rating in spite of being in the early stages of his sophomore season.
