It took overcoming a 21-point deficit but Tennessee outlasted No. 19-ranked Georgia 38-31 at a sold out Neyland Stadium in Knoxville on Saturday.
It was the first time Tennessee (3-3, 1-2 Southeastern Conference) defeated a top 25 opponent since it took down then No. 9 South Carolina in Butch Jones' first season on The Hill.
For the second time in his career, junior quarterback Joshua Dobbs threw for over 300 yards and ran for over 100. Dobbs finished 25-of-42 passing for 312 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. He ran it 18 times for 118 yards and two more scores.
The statistics and the frenzied crowd remind Vols fans of how things used to be. But, are they truly back? See what InsideTennessee's Cory Gunkel and Danny Parker said after taking in the game on Rocky Top.
