Road Trip: TSSAA Mr. Football Awards

High school football players all across the Volunteer State enjoyed impressive 2015 seasons. Learn about some of the best of the best.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A future Tennessee Volunteer had 10.5 sacks and four fumble recoveries this fall. Another graded out on the offensive line at 93-percent and tallied 85 pancake blocks. One caught 56 passes for 1,028 yards.

The best high school football players in the Volunteer State were honored at the Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Awards at Nissan Stadium on Monday.

Among those bound for Rocky Top that received accolades were Scout four-star senior linebacker Daniel Bituli, four-star junior wide receiver Tee Higgins and sophomore offensive lineman Cade Mays.
