Landon Dickerson is scheduled to visit Tennessee for Tennessee's huge recruiting weekend Jan. 29-31. The Vols are making one last late push to land the No. 1 offensive guard in North Carolina's 2016 class as he weighs an offer list that includes Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State and Georgia.
Dickerson's official visit to Knoxville will be huge for the Vols' coaching staff in trying to sway the Scout four-star prospect, and there's little doubt as to why he's so coveted among some of the most tradition-rich programs in the country. The South Caldwell (N.C.) High School star is an extremely physical presence in the trenches who can has the ability to pull and craves the contact that comes with life on the offensive line.
The 6-foot-5, 306-pound senior already possesses the frame to be a factor at the next level and has a sharp quickness off the ball with a solid first punch. Those qualities landed him a spot on the Under Armour All-America Game roster, where showcased just why he has become one of the top offensive linemen in his class.
