Tennessee welcomed one of the best defenders in Mississippi to its campus.

C.J. Avery took time to get a look at Tennessee recently and came away with terrific news.

The Scout No. 1 safety prospect in the Magnolia State's 2017 class and No. 198 player in the nation learned about a scholarship offer to potentially be a Volunteer from recruiting coordinator Robert Gillespie.

From talk of how "beautiful" the Tennessee campus is to what it was like being in the Peyton Manning Locker Room to his talent as a safety, Avery answered it all.
