Vols target Ani Izuchukwu confident as he learns the game

A young talent with a Tennessee offer discusses his Tennessee Showcase performance with IT.

ALCOA, Tenn. — Ani Izuchukwu has been playing the game of football for less than three years, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have confidence. The rising sophomore defensive end from Davidson Academy (Nashville) already boasts two SEC offers in LSU and Tennessee, with that number sure to grow as he does.

The 6-foot-4, 219-pound class of 2019 prospect most recently performed at the Tennessee Showcase at Alcoa High School, where the Nigerian-born Izuchukwu gave InsideTennessee an exclusive interview on his progress as player, his thought process as his recruitment picks up and how he benefits from competing at high-level camps.
