CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A.J. Terrell possessed the ball skills and length that has coaches like the ones at Tennessee salivating.
Scout analysts say Terrell is a "defensive back who still needs some polish when talking technique, but his length and athleticism made him shine Sunday. There were times where his footwork may not have been correct, but he can recover and he stayed with wide receivers throughout the event. He is still one who could be viewed as a corner or safety. He has excellent range."
If coach Butch Jones and staff are goign to sign the 6-foot-2, 171-pound Scout 300 defensive back, they're going to have to overtake programs like Auburn, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.
