CHARLOTTE — Darnell Ewell has a lot to think about before he pares down an offer list that reads like a who's who of college football. The Scout four-star offensive guard has acquired more than 25 offers from programs like Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, Notre Dame and Tennessee, among many others.
The No. 1-ranked guard in the Old Dominion State showed his explosiveness off the ball and flexible athleticism at The Opening Charlotte on April 24 against some of the best defensive linemen in the region. He also gave InsideTennessee an exclusive interview detailing his favorite schools and where the Vols stand in his recruitment process.
Tennessee didn't make Ewell's original top five, but the Scout300 player is still keeping Butch Jones' program in mind and could take a visit this summer. Watch the interview above for insight into the 6-foot-3, 285-pound rising senior's recruitment process and if Tennessee has a shot at landing him.
