Spring Rewind: Vols OG Venzell Boulware

InsideTennessee doesn't miss a Tennessee football game, practice or press conference. Learn about one of the younger Volunteers as IT documented the progress this spring of Venzell Boulware.

A year later, a year stronger, a year wiser.

Venzell Boulware did not play for the 119th edition of the Tennessee Volunteers, accepting a redshirt to develop his skill set as Mack Crowder, Jashon Robertson and Dylan Wiesman handled a majority of the snaps.

The 6-foot-3, 306-pounder made from right tackle at Creekside (Ga.) High School to left guard this spring in Knoxville.

Up roughly 30 pounds from where the former Scout three-star prospect was his final season on the prep level, Boulware has his body looking that much more like that of a Southeastern Conference blocker. However, he must transition from bending at the waist in his sets to more of a knee bender.

Take a look at some of the progress Boulware has made since arriving at Tennessee by watching the Spring Rewind video above.
