D'Andre Litaker takes advantage of Vols satellite camp

Murfreesboro's D'Andre Litaker is one of the Volunteer State's premier defenders in the Class of 2018. Here's a recruiting update from the Scout four-star prospect after he worked out under the guidance of coach Butch Jones and the Tennessee staff.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — D'Andre Litaker wanted to show Tennessee coaches that their offering him a scholarship was the right decision.

The Scout four-star defensive tackle prospect from the 2018 class put his ability on display at the program's STATEment Day Camp at Tennessee State University on Sunday.

"Really, you know, just to get out, show my talent as far as Tennessee, let them know how I do and everything," Litaker told InsideTennessee.

Vols defensive line coach Steve Stripling was on hand and worked alongside the Riverdale (Tenn.) High School rising junior.

"I've got a good relationship with (Stripling). We was working together all day today really," said Litaker, who's battling a shoulder injury.

Litaker went into detail about his relationship with players on Tennessee's Team 120 roster, what has him interested in the Vols, future plans, transferring high schools and more in the exclusive video interview above.
