Darrell Taylor didn't just take a seat on the Tennessee bench last season waiting on his chance to play.
The former Scout four-star prospect used his redshirt year to add bulk to his frame and is now 6-feet-4, 230 pounds.
It wasn't simply a year locked inside the Anderson Training Center either. Taylor, who doubled as a pass catcher at Hopewell (Va.) High School, was able to concentrate on being an end and worked on his craft under defensive line coach Steve Stripling and was seen getting tutored by then-fifth-year senior Curt Maggitt whenever extra time allowed.
