Wanna bet?

Think Tennessee will play in the Sugar Bowl this January? Well, you can get pretty good odds if you're willing to put your money where your mouth is.

Carib Sports lists odds of 30-1 that the Vols will play in the BCS championship game. If that sounds like an insult, it isn't. Only 12 teams nationally are given better odds of playing for all the marbles. They are:

Oklahoma 5-1
Miami 5-1
Ohio State 6-1
Michigan 10-1
Texas 12-1
Kansas State 12-1
Auburn 12-1
Virginia Tech 15-1
Southern Cal 20-1
Pittsburgh 20-1
Florida State 20-1
Notre Dame 25-1

For what it's worth, SEC brethren Georgia (40-1), LSU (40-1) and Florida (50-1) are rated as bigger longshots than Tennessee to be in New Orleans this New Year's.

The odds posted by Carib and other bookmakers can be seen at collegefootballnews.com.
