Chance Hall is a welcome sight to practice field this week for the Tennessee Volunteers.
The 6-foot-4, 318-pounder from Roanoke, Virginia, missed his senior season at Northside (Va.) High School with a torn Achilles tendon, then had to sit out all of this year's spring practices with his arm in a sling. This August he had to have arthroscopic surgery on a knee, causing him to miss time from mid-August until Monday's practice.
Butch Jones said Monday that Hall had been able to do some work on his own of late. However, the Scout second-team Freshman All-America is yet to dress out for a a game this season.
