Tennessee running backs coach Robert Gillespie spoke with the media on Tuesday, Oct. 18 about the development of the backs up to the point of the bye week and being able to rely on players such as John Kelly to make an impact when the Vols need it most.

"(John Kelly) is a guy that I always felt comfortable putting into the game," Gillespie said of the sophomore. "Last year we didn't have to—this year he's come in and played well when he was called upon. He's going to be a kid that gets better with reps. This will be a great week for hims to get more reps and get better."
