Tennessee's seven-week game stretch, including four back-to-back Southeastern Conference matchups and a tough loss versus Alabama, certainly demanded some recouping.
Team 120's bye week seemed to take place at a very appropriate times—allowing for players to regain physical health, focus on fundamentals and gain beneficial reps in order to be ready for the final five-game stretch of the season.
And with several previously injured players looking to return to the field this Saturday as well as Cam Sutton's expectation to return in a "couple" of weeks, the Vols seem to be in a good place as they head into game eight versus South Carolina.
